As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Parliament will continue its work by putting in place a temporary hybrid meeting format. By adopting hybrid provisions, Parliament can closely adhere to public safety guidelines and enhance the safety of those who work on the Hill in light of COVID-19 and Omicron. In this way, Members of Parliament can participate in a House of Commons sitting either in person or via video. We are taking measures in order to represent our communities in a safe manner. The hybrid format will have the option to work in place until at least June 2022.
