Our government continues to advise against all non-essential travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the number of cases of COVID-19 rise around the world, we are taking further steps to protect Canadians from the virus and its variants. That is why, effective as of April 22, 2021 at 11:30 p.m. EDT, Canada will temporarily suspend all commercial and private passenger flights arriving in Canada from India and Pakistan for 30 days as we monitor the ongoing situation in the region.
Our top priority remains protecting the health and safety of Canadians, and our decisions will continue to be guided by the latest available science and research. Please stay tuned for any further details and changes.
