To help Canada's hardest-hit workers and their families throughout COVID-19 our government introduced emergency benefits and programs to provide some certainty in uncertain times. The supports will now continue into the next phase of the pandemic recovery.

The following benefits have been extended:

• Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) extended from 26 weeks to 38 weeks
• Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB) extended from 26 weeks to 38 weeks
• Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB) extended from 2 weeks to 4 weeks
• Employment Insurance extended up to a maximum of 50 weeks

We will continue to support Canadians throughout the pandemic and the next phase of pandemic recovery.
