This academic year has posed many challenges - for students, teachers and parents alike. To help keep our schools and learning environments healthy and safe, we are adding $1 billion to our Safe Return to School Fund - on top of the $2 billion already invested last summer - for provinces to distribute to our school boards.

The new funding will deliver $763.34 million to Ontario to support adapted learning spaces and remote learning capabilities, help school boards equip schools with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and cleaning supplies, and help to improve air ventilation within classrooms.
