Happy Thai Pongal to the Tamil community here in Ajax, across Canada and around the world. This year's harvest festival will be different - normally at this time the Tamil community would be gathering, but we are all still unable to meet with friends and loved ones outside our households to celebrate our traditions. I would like to thank everyone for taking the necessary health precautions to overcome this global pandemic, the sacrifice will help ensure we can all meet up again sooner.
