Our government is providing $15 million in funding for 85 projects through our Anti-Racism Action Program (ARAP). This initiative will support anti-racism projects across Canada that address barriers to employment, justice and social participation. Happy to hear that the Women's Multicultural Resource & Counselling Centre (WMRCC) of Durham was one of the groups that received funding through the ARAP to support projects that advance equality and combat racism here in Durham Region.
Organizations like WMRCC are integral to building a safer, stronger and more inclusive Canada for everyone. Together, we can and we will build back better.
